Green hearts for climate change awareness

 February saw our first Craft Club meeting of 2017. Instead of doing our own thing, this month we joined in with a project many WIs around the country are participating in: green hearts for climate change awareness. We stitched and stuck and sparkled up some felt brooches to wear throughout the month. February is about more than just red Valentine hearts!
 The National Federation of Women's Institutes was one of the founding member of the Climate Coalition who are sponsoring the Show The Love campaign encouraging speaking up about climate change. Say and show what you love to start a conversation! We had a fun night creating our own special hearts that tied in with the larger NFWI campaign.
